After starting well and leading 14 to nil Bilambil Under 19’s saw some errors and penalties against them result in a halftime score of Bilambil 14 Currumbin 12. Two quick tries to Currumbin early in the second half had Bilambil on the back foot. Fighting back saw two further tries for each team which brought the score to Bilambil 26 Currumbin 32 with 5 minutes remaining. Two penalty goals for Currumbin brought the fulltime score to Bilambil 26 (Tries: Blake Graham 2, James Garner 2, Glenn McGrady. Goals: Glenn McGrady 2, Harry Fitzhugh) going down to Currumbin 36.
